Sara Phelps

First, allow me to introduce myself. I am Sara Phelps, the broker/owner of Ag Land, Ranch & Home Realty. I specialize in Northern Monterey County while Kim focuses on Southern Monterey County. Due to the changing market, I have expanded my expertise from land sales to bank owned properties. I am enjoying educating buyers on this new real estate market and finding them properties to meet their needs.
The real estate and development business have been a part of my life for 12 years. Prior to venturing out on my own, I was a Developer Sales Representative with Old Republic Title Company for almost 6 years. Due to marketing Monterey County for several years, I am very familiar with the communities in this county. I have developed great relationships with all the cities and their officials in this County. Attending endless planning commission and board of supervisors meetings has not only kept me abreast of the developments in the future, but also the process of subdividing land and developing mixed use projects in Monterey County. My time in the business has also allowed me to make long lasting relationships with several land owners and developers throughout the state of California.

Kim Tankersley
To begin, my name is Kim Tankersley. I am excited to be with Ag Land, Ranch and Home Realty as a realtor. I have worked extensively with Sara Phelps in the past while she was employed with Old Republic Title Company. While working together, I discovered our work ethics and philosophies are very similar.
I am proud to say I am a Salinas Valley native. Originally my family lived in Soledad and relocated to Salinas (Highway 68) area when I began school. I attended grammar and high school in Salinas. To further my education, I attended Cuesta Community College in San Luis Obispo and also University of Nevada, Reno. Although I enjoyed my time away, I quickly realized my emotional attachment to the Salinas Valley. It is my home! Living and raising my own family anywhere but the Salinas Valley seemed unreasonable. Fortunately, I married a South County boy and found myself again living in Southern Monterey County. Our roots remainin this valley as we raise our three kids and live in our dream home that we built in 2006 in the San Antonio Valley.
I was fortunate to start my career in Real Estate Sales during a booming time. Southern Monterey County is full of exciting opportunities for business and individuals alike. Because of this, I have had lots of experience in brokering many different types of transactions. These transactions include selling raw land, homes with acreage, and homes in town. In the ever changing market of Real Estate I've learned to adapt as necessary. The recent years have given me the opprotunity to work with bank owned properties and properties offered as short sales. Although brokering these transactions can be complex having a Real Estate professional who is expierenced in these transactions can make the process simple. I am looking forward to a long career in Real Estate.
My philosophy about doing business is simple: "Treat people with honesty, respect and fairness. A good reputation will gain new business and repeat clients every time!" I will do whatever I can to make a real estate sale or purchase as easy as possible for my clients. I meet with clients at their convenience and easiest location. I do whatever it takes to make my clients' transaction easy. I realize not only that my clients' time is precious, but also that their real estate transaction may be the largest financial matter of their life. I pride myself in taking care of my clients by always going that extra mile.
